Celebrating a momma-to-be and a baby-on-the-way is always a treat, but there’s something about fall baby showers that makes these celebrations even sweeter! From cozying in because of cooler weather to brand new clothes for back to school to getting into the swing of a new routine – I love how the simple life changes that come with fall parallel, in a way, what it’s like to prepare for life with a little one. And beyond that, fall colors and plants are beautiful to work with when you’re creating that perfect baby shower experience for the special momma-to-be in your life.
While, who doesn’t love a fall baby shower, it can be overwhelming to narrow down your theme options and put together a cohesive, memorable party. That’s why I have put together a list of 15 fall baby shower themes for your inspiration.

1. Little Pumpkin
Little Pumpkin is a classic fall baby shower theme that’s easy to put together without a ton of effort. Check out your favorite local orchard, florist, or even the grocery store and pick up a variety of pumpkins and gourds to decorate your venue. Take it a step further with some sunflowers, mums, and fall grasses for beautiful centerpieces and accents. If you know the gender of the baby, consider painting your pumpkin decorations blue or pink, or, for a girl, incorporating some pink roses into your floral arrangements.
It’s also easy to find little pumpkin baby shower invitations and games – just do a quick Pinterest, Etsy, or Amazon search!
2. Where the Wild Things Are
Book-themed baby showers are a favorite of mine. They just have a way of fueling nostalgia for my own childhood. Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak, was a favorite in my family growing up, and they’ve since made it into a movie! It’s a fun boy baby shower theme that portrays a sense of wonder and adventure.
One of my favorite things about this theme is that the book has so many great quotes, it’s easy to pull them out for themed signage like food and drink menus or the gift table.

3. Little Allstar
Another fall baby shower theme perfect for a little boy is the Little Allstar or Future MVP theme. You could do this theme with any sport or a combination of sports, but for fall I love a football theme. Combine tailgate foods with sports-themed games and team spirit decorations.
This theme is also fun for a co-ed baby shower. Do the future Momma and Daddy have a favorite team? Incorporate that into your decorations, invitations, and games! Want to get the guests involved? Have everyone wear their team colors instead of traditional baby shower attire.
4. Mommy to Bee
What’s the only thing sweeter than a brand new baby? Honey!
OK…maybe that’s a stretch, but it doesn’t get much sweeter than a Momma-to-Be and a fresh jar of honey. That’s why I love the Mommy to Bee baby shower theme for fall. It’s a simple, gender neutral option that incorporates natural elements while still giving some structure to the elements of your shower.
5. Little Sunflower
Another classic fall icon that makes for a beautiful baby shower theme is the sunflower. Not only does the Little Sunflower theme make for simple but charming decor, but it’s also adorable on invitations and signage. Consider picking up some sunflowers at a local flower shop and arranging the centerpieces yourself to stay on budget. Take it a step further by offering the centerpieces as prizes for the game winners!
6. Camping
As the air starts to cool and the colors start to change, who doesn’t love a relaxing fall camping trip? Ok, I know that’s not everyone’s thing, but I’m sure you could at least get on board with a Camping themed baby shower! Consider this for your outdoorsy, adventure hungry girlfriend. Decorate with rustic foliage and lanterns. You could even hang a clothesline of onesies!
7. Woodland
The Woodland theme is another outdoorsy, adventure-filled fall baby shower option with an enchanting twist. Incorporate wild baby animals into your invitation design and decor. Switch up the colors to personalize the shower for a little girl or a baby boy.
8. Baby-Q
Another fun fall baby shower theme is the Baby-Q. It’s a great option for a co-ed baby shower, makes for a super easy menu, and lends itself well to simple decorations you can find just about anywhere.
9. Little Cutie
Looking for a unique fall baby shower theme? Look no further than the Little Cutie theme! Orange is a fun, gender-neutral color option. The Little Cuite theme is fresh, and offers so much opportunity for getting creative with your menu! Of course, no Little Cutie baby shower is complete without a Mom-osa bar 😉
